Upcoming drama “Hunter with a Scalpel” has shared a first look at the key members of the violent crime unit!

“Hunter with a Scalpel” is a psychological crime thriller starring Park Ju Hyun as Seo Se Hyun, a brilliant but troubled forensic pathologist. One day, while conducting an autopsy, Se Hyun recognizes the signature murder method of her father—a serial killer who she thought had died 20 years ago—and sets out to find him before the police.

The newly released stills introduce the team at Yongcheon Police Station, capturing their chemistry, diverse personalities, and unique dynamics.

First, Jung Jung Hyun (Kang Hoon) is a newly appointed team leader in the violent crimes unit. A principled humanist brimming with sincerity and a strong sense of justice, he refuses to compromise even when faced with harsh realities—traits that sometimes make him a frustrating presence within the team. How his leadership will affect the team dynamic remains to be seen.

The team also includes Jeon Chang Jin (Ryu Seung Soo), Jang Hyuk Geun (Choi Kwang Je), and Park Seok Woo (Bin Chan Wook). Chang Jin, a veteran detective, is respected by both seniors and juniors for his ability to read the room and smoothly handle situations with ease. His subtle tension with Jung Hyun, who was appointed team leader at a young age, will add further complexity to the team’s internal relationships.

Hyuk Geun, Chang Jin’s right-hand man, brings energy and lightheartedness to the group. With a boisterous and straightforward personality, he often finds himself clashing with Jung Hyun over their differing values.
