Cha Joo Young In Talks To Star In New Rom-Com Drama
Cha Joo Young may be starring in the new drama “Who Are You” (literal title)!
On June 2, a media outlet reported that Cha Joo Young will star in the new drama “Who Are You” as the female lead.
In response to the report, Cha Joo Young’s agency Ghost Studio shared, “‘Who Are You’ is a project she has received a [casting] offer for and is currently reviewing.”
“Who Are You” is a rom-com drama about Lee Tae Joo, a black ops agent who has lost his memory, and Yoo Ah Rin, a star actress who has lost her love, as they search for their memories and true love together.
According to the report, Cha Joo Young is offered to play the role of Yoo Ah Rin, an actress who creates a buzz with every project she appears in and is also the daughter of the leading presidential candidate from the main opposition party.
Cha Joo Young made her debut in the 2016 drama “Cheese in the Trap.” She gained popularity for her role as Choi Hye Jeong in Netflix’s “The Glory” and received praise for her stable performance as Queen Won Gyeong in tvN’s “The Queen Who Crowns.”
