tvN’s “Second Shot at Love” has teased a tense confrontation between Sooyoung and Kim Bo Jung in tonight’s episode!

“Second Shot at Love” is a rom-com that follows Han Geum Ju (Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung), a self-proclaimed “reasonable drinker” who unexpectedly reunites with her first love Seo Ui Jun (Gong Myoung)—a man who despises alcohol—and decides to take on the challenge of quitting drinking.

In the previous episode, Geum Ju and Ui Jun finally took a step beyond friendship, starting a new chapter as a couple after Ui Jun confessed his feelings. Helping bring them back together was Bong Sun Wook (Kang Hyung Suk), their longtime friend who acted as a bridge between the two. But just as things seemed to be settling, Sun Wook’s sister Bong Sun Hwa (Kim Bo Jung) suddenly confronts Geum Ju, stirring up an unexpected wave of conflict.

Known for being fiercely protective of her younger brother, Sun Hwa’s hostility toward Geum Ju hints at deeper, unresolved emotions—possibly tied to Sun Wook himself. Viewers are now left wondering what drove her to lash out so suddenly.

The newly released stills offer a glimpse of the high-stakes moment: Geum Ju, caught off guard in a narrow alley, freezes as Sun Hwa approaches with an icy stare. In a moment thick with tension, Sun Hwa reaches out—almost as if to grab Geum Ju—who instinctively raises her hand to stop her.

Seo Ui Jun and Bong Sun Wook also witness the confrontation. Ui Jun looks stunned, while Sun Wook watches on with a tense expression—raising questions about how this charged encounter will affect the relationships among the four.
