“Show Me The Money” Reportedly Returning For Season 12 + Mnet Responds
Mnet’s hip-hop audition program “Show Me the Money” may be making a long-awaited comeback!
On June 4, JTBC Entertainment News reported that Mnet has officially greenlit production for “Show Me the Money 12” and is currently in the final stages of preparation, including casting its lineup of judges. According to the report, the decision to revive the show comes as Mnet celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.
In response to the report, Mnet shared a cautious statement, saying, “We are currently preparing Mnet’s hip-hop IPs, including ‘Show Me the Money,’ with new plans.”
Earlier this year, during the “Mnet 30th Anniversary Chart Show,” head of CJ ENM’s music content division Shin Hyung Kwan also hinted at the possibility of a new season, saying they were “exploring various options.”
“Show Me the Money” last aired in December 2022, with Lee Young Ji making history as the winner of Season 11.
