Lee Jung Jae, Yim Si Wan, Kang Ha Neul And More Set Out To Bring 'Squid Game' To An End In Posters For New Season

Netflix’s highly-anticipated final installment of the “Squid Game” series has released new individual posters featuring eight main characters!

“Squid Game 3” will continue the intense saga of Seong Gi Hun (Lee Jung Jae), who re-entered the deadly competition with a personal mission; Front Man (Lee Byung Hun), who concealed his identity to infiltrate the game; and the other surviving contestants who are facing the final chapter of the brutal game.

The newly released character posters feature the seven contestants—Gi Hun, Myung Gi (Yim Si Wan), Dae Ho (Kang Ha Neul), Hyun Ju (Park Sung Hoon), Yong Sik (Yang Dong Geun), Geum Ja (Kang Ae Shim), and Jun Hee (Jo Yu Ri)—and the Front Man inside a space decorated with colorful drawings, as if painted by a child with watercolors.

First, Gi Hun’s determined gaze, after losing his closest friend Jung Bae (Lee Seo Hwan) and fellow contestants due to the failed rebellion he led, raises questions about whether he will be able to bring the game to an end and what changes he will undergo in Season 3.

On the other hand, the Front Man, who previously removed his mask and disguised himself as contestant 001, Young Il, to participate in the game alongside Gi Hun, is now shown returning as the overseer of the game, hinting at a reunion with Gi Hun.

In addition, Myung Gi’s determined facial expression as he looks straight ahead raises curiosity about what decisions he will make in the upcoming season after having made selfish choices to survive in the previous season.

The image of Dae Ho running his hand through his hair with a tense facial expression reveals the confusion he feels after facing true terror during the rebellion.

Hyun Joo also stands out with his confident and strong demeanor. Having shown courageous decisions at every life-or-death crossroads, viewers are eager to see whether Hyun Joo will continue to maintain his warm heart and consideration for others in Season 3.

Yong Sik and his mother Geum Ja display a mix of fear and curiosity. Attention is focused on whether Yong Sik, who has barely managed to get through the games so far but is starting to reach his limits, will be able to survive until the end, and how Geum Ja’s story will unfold as she wishes for her son’s survival even at the cost of her own life.

Furthermore, Jun Hee, who participates while heavily pregnant and manages to complete each game without being eliminated despite the difficulty, draws curiosity about how she will play the increasingly difficult and brutal games and what choices she will make.

“Squid Game 3” is set to premiere on June 27. Stay tuned!
