SEVENTEEN's "HAPPY BURSTDAY" Debuts At No. 2 On Billboard 200 + No. 1 On Top Album Sales Chart
SEVENTEEN’s latest album is off to a strong start on the Billboard charts!
On June 8 local time, Billboard announced that SEVENTEEN’s new album “HAPPY BURSTDAY” had debuted at No. 2 on its Top 200 Albums chart, which ranks the most popular albums in the United States.
“HAPPY BURSTDAY” also debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart, meaning it was the best-selling album of the week in the United States.
According to Luminate (formerly Nielsen Music), “HAPPY BURSTDAY” earned a total of 48,500 equivalent album units during the week ending on June 5. The album’s total score consisted of 46,000 traditional album sales and 2,500 streaming equivalent album (SEA) units, which translates to 3.26 million on-demand audio streams over the course of the week.
“HAPPY BURSTDAY” is SEVENTEEN’s seventh consecutive album to enter the top 10 of the Billboard 200—and their ninth entry overall, following “Your Choice” (which peaked at No. 15), “Attacca” (No. 13), “Face the Sun” (No. 7), “SECTOR 17” (No. 4), “FML” (No. 2), “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” (No. 2), “17 IS RIGHT HERE” (No. 5), and “SPILL THE FEELS” (No. 5).
