“Splash Splash Love” Stars Kim Seul Gi And Yoon Doojoon To Reunite In Upcoming Romance One-Act Drama
Kim Seul Gi and HIGHLIGHT’s Yoon Doojoon will reunite in a drama after 10 years!
On June 9, XportsNews reported that Kim Seul Gi and Yoon Doojoon will star in “The Catstody War” (literal title), a one-act drama that’s part of tvN’s upcoming O’PENing 2025 series.
In response to the report, CJ ENM confirmed, “Kim Seul Gi and Yoon Doojoon will appear in the tvN one-act drama ‘The Catstody War,’ which is part of O’PENing 2025. It is scheduled to air in the second half of the year.”
“O’PENing” is a drama project composed of works by rookie writers discovered through CJ ENM’s new creator support initiative, O’PEN.
A winning entry from last year’s competition, “The Catstody War” tells the story of a couple on the verge of divorce who become embroiled in a fierce custody battle—not over a child, but over their beloved cat, whom they’ve raised like family.
Kim Seul Gi and Yoon Doojoon will portray a married couple of five years. After struggling with infertility, they adopted a stray cat and formed a tight-knit family—only to eventually reach the decision to part ways.
The drama marks Kim Seul Gi and Yoon Doojoon’s reunion in 10 years, following their 2015 collaboration in the MBC one-act drama “Splash Splash Love.”
