Kang Hyung Suk Collapses In Front Of Jo Yoon Hee’s House In “Second Shot At Love”
tvN’s “Second Shot at Love” has unveiled new stills ahead of tonight’s episode!
“Second Shot at Love” is a rom-com that follows Han Geum Ju (Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung), a self-proclaimed “reasonable drinker” who unexpectedly reunites with her first love Seo Ui Jun (Gong Myoung)—a man who despises alcohol—and decides to take on the challenge of quitting drinking.
Spoilers
Recently, Han Hyun Joo (Jo Yoon Hee) began receiving romantic attention from Bong Seon Uk (Kang Hyung Suk), who is her younger sister Han Geum Ju’s friend. Having distanced herself from dating while raising twins alone for many years, Han Hyun Joo’s heart slowly began to waver in the face of Seon Uk’s bold and unwavering affection.
However, Hyun Joo hesitated to accept his feelings because Seon Uk’s sister, Sun Hwa—who is also Hyun Joo’s close friend—had repeatedly expressed that she wished her younger brother would marry a capable and respectable woman. Just as Hyun Joo was grappling with this, her mother Kim Gwang Ok (Kim Sung Ryung) suddenly collapsed, forcing Hyun Joo, as the eldest daughter, into a situation where she couldn’t afford any distractions. Ultimately, she drew a firm line with Seon Uk, leaving viewers heartbroken.
The newly released stills show Bong Seon Uk collapsed in front of Han Hyun Joo’s house. He is seen leaning against the wall with his eyes closed, while Hyun Joo watches him with concern.
The next photo shows Hyun Joo hesitantly reaching out her hand toward Seon Uk. Her hesitation reveals her inner conflict and emotional turmoil.
The final photo shows Bong Sun Hwa standing with a shocked expression as if she has witnessed the whole scene. While it remains to be seen whether she has figured out the situation or is simply flustered by what she saw, her unreadable expression suggests a turning point in the relationship between the three. Curiosity is mounting over what changes this encounter will bring.
The next episode of “Second Shot at Love” will air on June 10 at 8:50 p.m. KST!
