On June 11 at around 5 a.m. KST, Rosé and Bruno Mars’ music video for their smash hit “APT.” surpassed 1.7 billion views on YouTube. The song was originally released on October 18, 2024 at 1 p.m. KST, meaning that it took the video just over 235 days to hit the 1.7 billion mark.

“APT.” has now become the fastest music video by a female artist ever to surpass 1.7 billion views on YouTube—and the third fastest overall, bested only by Luis Fonsi’s “Despacito” featuring Daddy Yankee and Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You.”
