Jeon Bae Soo Is The Only One Who Knows Truth Behind Haunted Subway Station In Horror Film “Ghost Train”
Upcoming film “Ghost Train” has shared more insights into Jeon Bae Soo’s intriguing role!
“Ghost Train” is a mystery horror film starring Joo Hyun Young as Da Kyung, a horror YouTuber desperate for views. While investigating the secrets of Gwanglim Station, where mysterious disappearances have been occurring one after another, Da Kyung winds up encountering something horrifying.
Jeon Bae Soo plays the stationmaster of Gwanglim Station—the only figure who seems to know the full truth behind the station’s chilling mystery. When Da Kyung arrives and starts digging around, he shares with her the eerie legends and dark history surrounding the station.
In the role, Jeon Bae Soo delivers a nuanced performance—balancing the familiarity of an everyday neighborhood figure with an unsettling undercurrent of mystery. With his calm demeanor masking something far more ominous, his portrayal adds a compelling layer of tension to the film.
Director Tak Se Woong praised Jeon Bae Soo’s performance, saying, “Just his presence changes the entire tone of a scene. He approached the role with complete dedication to the story’s rhythm. Watching him simply sit and pour a drink was enough to hold everyone on set in rapt attention.”
“Ghost Train” will hit theaters on July 2.
