Chae Soo Bin, Nana, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, And More Plunge Into A World Of Chaos In New Film “Omniscient Reader”

Upcoming film “Omniscient Reader” has unveiled new stills featuring Chae Soo Bin, Nana, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, Shin Seung Ho, and Kwon Eun Seong!

Based on the popular web novel of the same name, “Omniscient Reader” will tell the story of Kim Dok Ja (Ahn Hyo Seop), who suddenly finds himself living in the world of a fantasy novel he was reading. Armed with the knowledge of what happened in the novel, Kim Dok Ja sets out to save the world from ending. Lee Min Ho stars as Yoo Joong Hyuk, the protagonist from the novel that Kim Dok Ja read.

Chae Soo Bin plays Yoo Sang Ah, a colleague of Dok Ja who also finds herself facing a reality that has become a novel.

Chae Soo Bin said, “Among all the diverse characters, Sang Ah makes the most realistic decisions, but I worked to make sure those choices did not come across as cold. She is also a compelling character because she helps others find their footing,” showing her deep affection for the role.

Shin Seung Ho plays Lee Hyun Sung, a soldier who offers crucial support in times of crisis with his strength and defensive abilities.

Shin Seung Ho said, “‘Omniscient Reader’ is a project I was really looking forward to once it was made into a film,” adding, “Lee Hyun Sung is a character driven by pure adrenaline.”

Nana returns to the big screen as Jung Hui Won, a character who is saved by Dok Ja and fights for justice.

Nana said, “Seeing ordinary people come together to save the world felt truly inspiring,” adding, “Hui Won is a character who shows off fast and dynamic action. I took on many challenging sequences, and the wire work, in particular, was incredibly thrilling. I put a lot of effort into training so I could show the full strength and precision of each move.”

Jisoo plays Lee Ji Hye, a high school student who looks up to Yoo Joong Hyuk and calls him her mentor.

Jisoo said, “I wanted to show a character who handles ever-changing situations well and quickly understands what’s going on with good judgment.”

Child actor Kwon Eun Seong plays Lee Gil Young, a boy who bonds with insects.

Kwon Eun Seong said, “Gil Young’s biggest charm is his cuteness and confidence,” adding, “The director always asked for my thoughts before giving direction, and that helped create Gil Young’s signature pose.”
