Oh Yeon Seo Reported + Choi Jin Hyuk In Talks To Lead Drama Adaptation Of "Positively Yours"
Oh Yeon Seo and Choi Jin Hyuk may be teaming up for the upcoming drama adaptation of “Positively Yours”!
On June 16, it was reported that Oh Yeon Seo has been cast as the female lead, with Choi Jin Hyuk set to play the male lead in a new drama based on the hit web novel and webtoon “Positively Yours.”
The original story, which was first published as a web novel and later adapted into a webtoon, gained widespread popularity both in Korea and abroad. While the novel and webtoon were set in a school and followed a teacher and a school board chairman, the drama will reportedly shift the backdrop to a major corporation to offer a fresh and more dynamic storyline.
The drama will reportedly tell the story of Jang Hee Won, a successful career woman who has sworn off marriage. Focused on climbing the corporate ladder, she willingly works late nights and weekends. But her life is turned upside down when a night of impulse leads to an unexpected pregnancy, and the baby’s father—the president of a company affiliate—insists they marry, sparking a whirlwind romance.
Oh Yeon Seo is reportedly set to play Jang Hee Won, while Choi Jin Hyuk is in talks for the role of Kang Doo Joon, the company president determined to marry her after learning he’s the father.
Choi Jin Hyuk’s agency ANIC ENT responded to the news by sharing that he is indeed “positively reviewing the offer,” while Oh Yeon Seo’s side has not yet commented.
