Ryu Seung Ryong, Yang Se Jong, And Im Soo Jung’s New Drama “Low Life” Reveals Premiere Date With First Poster

Disney+’s upcoming original series “Low Life” has revealed its premiere date along with a striking new poster!

Based on the webtoon of the same name, “Low Life” is a crime drama that follows a group of down-on-their-luck country folks as they chase after a sunken treasure ship beneath the sea.

Ryu Seung Ryong stars as Oh Gwan Seok, the leader of a group of country bumpkins who come together to unearth treasure off the coast of Sinan. He is expected to anchor this comedic adventure with his commanding presence.

Yang Se Jong takes on the role of Oh Hee Dong, who joins his uncle Oh Gwan Seok in the hunt for hidden riches. With his dynamic performance, Yang Se Jong is anticipated to inject fresh energy into the storyline.

Im Soo Jung portrays Yang Jeong Sook, the sharp and confident matriarch of Heungbaek Industries who knows how to handle money. She is set to captivate viewers with her overwhelming charisma.

They are joined by a powerhouse ensemble of veteran actors known for their compelling performances, including Kim Eui Sung, Kim Sung Oh, Hong Ki Joon, Jang Kwang, Kim Jong Soo, Woo Hyun, Lee Dong Hwi, TVXQ’s Yunho, Im Hyung Joon, Lee Sang Jin, Kim Min and more. The cast also features a wave of fresh new faces, expected to bring vibrant energy and help deliver a high-energy ensemble.

The newly unveiled poster captures immediate attention with its sweeping view of a deep blue ocean and a cinematic scale. The tagline, “In 1977, off the coast of Sinan, the smell of money rose from the water,” hints at an unpredictable tale about a group of country folks drawn to the sea by the promise of riches.

The 11-episode run of “Low Life” begins July 16 with three episodes, followed by two episodes each on July 23, July 30, August 6, and August 13.
