Lee Soo Mi, Kim Mi Kyung, And Yoon Byung Hee Stand As Spiritual Anchors For Cho Yi Hyun In New Drama “Head Over Heels”
tvN’s upcoming drama “Head Over Heels” has unveiled new stills featuring its supporting cast!
Based on a popular webtoon, “Head Over Heels” is a fantasy romance about a boy who is fated to die and the young shaman who tries to rescue him from his fate. Cho Yi Hyun will star as Park Seong A, a high school student who leads a double life as a shaman by night. Choo Young Woo will play her first love Bae Gyeon U, who is plagued by bad luck and was born with the misfortune of a predestined death.
Newly released stills highlight the striking presence of the shaman family, sparking anticipation for their unique roles. First is Park Seong A, as Cheonji Fairy, who commands attention with a piercing gaze and the aura of a powerful shaman, dressed not in a school uniform but in traditional shamanic robes. Even the spirit of her aunt (Lee Soo Mi), watching over a ritual Park Seong A performs with intense focus, appears on the verge of tears—matching the depth of her concentration.
Cheonji Fairy, General Dongcheon (Kim Mi Kyung), and Kkotdoryeong (Yoon Byung Hee) appear in an eerie abandoned house sealed with talismans, adding to the mystery. Park Seong A stares intensely into the distance, while the commanding presence of General Dongcheon and Kkotdoryeong beside her is equally compelling.
Why General Dongcheon, who uses a sword instead of a bell to capture evil spirits, and Kkotdoryeong, known for his powerful talismans, have been called into action is something viewers are eager to find out. The shaman family’s role in joining Park Seong A’s bold mission to protect her first love and ward off misfortune is highly anticipated.
“Head Over Heels” will premiere on June 23 at 8:50 p.m. KST.
