Watch: Cho Yi Hyun Is Determined To Save Ill-Fated Choo Young Woo In New "Head Over Heels" Teaser
tvN’s upcoming drama “Head Over Heels” has unveiled a new highlight video, building anticipation for its premiere!
Based on a popular webtoon, “Head Over Heels” is a fantasy romance about a boy who is fated to die and the young shaman who tries to rescue him from his fate. Cho Yi Hyun will star as Park Seong A, a high school student who leads a double life as a shaman by night. Choo Young Woo will play her first love Bae Gyeon U, who is plagued by bad luck and was born with the misfortune of a predestined death.
The new video kicks off with Bae Gyeon U catching the eye of Park Seong A while practicing archery and becoming her first love. However, when he visits her nighttime persona for a shamanic consultation, she discovers the tragic truth that he is fated to die soon. Determined to save him, Seong A resolves to risk her own life and also turns to others for help.
As strange incidents begin to occur around Gyeon U, Seong A does her best to protect him. But Seong A has a protector of her own: Pyo Ji Ho (Cha Kang Yoon) also comes to her rescue, catching her as she falls from a school wall and again when she faints in a classroom. He pointedly tells Gyeon U, “I take care of the things that are valuable to me,” hinting at a potential love triangle.
Adding to the mystery is the famous shaman Yeom Hwa (Choo Ja Hyun), who warns Gyeon U, “Your father’s been very worried. Afraid you might show up.” She then throws salt at him as he kneels before her, raising questions about Gyeon U’s hidden past.
