Ha Yoo Joon And Park Ji Hu Share A Sweet Piano Duet In “Spring Of Youth”

SBS’s “Spring of Youth” has unveiled new stills ahead of the upcoming episode!

“Spring of Youth” tells the story of Sa Gye (Ha Yoo Joon), a member of K-pop’s most famous band, who is suddenly ousted from his group. As he enrolls and adjusts to college life for the first time, he falls for Kim Bom (Park Ji Hu) and rediscovers his passion for music by joining a campus band. N.Flying’s Lee Seung Hyub stars as Sa Gye’s romantic rival Seo Tae Yang.

Previously, Kim Bom noticed Sa Gye acting strangely as his behavior reminded her of her late mother. Later, through a postcard sent by Sa Gye’s mother, she discovered that he had received a cornea transplant from her own mother. When Sa Gye expressed remorse, Kim Bom tearfully told him, “No, I’m just so glad it was you,” moving viewers to tears.

In episode 9, Ha Yoo Joon and Park Ji Hu show off their trademark youthful charm in a dream duet scene filled with heartwarming sweetness. As Kim Bom feels down, Sa Gye lightens the mood by playfully saying, “Shall we play together?” and joins her at the piano.

Sa Gye looks at Kim Bom with warm, caring eyes. As they play together, her mood begins to lift, and she eventually gives him a bright, sunny smile. Viewers are left wondering why the usually cheerful Kim Bom was feeling down and what led to the creation of this touching moment.

Before filming the scene, Ha Yoo Joon and Park Ji Hu practiced at the piano together. Excited to play “The Celebrated Chop Waltz” for the first time in a while, they laughed like children, bringing upbeat energy to the set. As a result, the scene capturing the sweet chemistry of a campus romance came together naturally.

Meanwhile, comedian Kim Min Kyung will make a special appearance, meeting Sa Gye during his job as a delivery driver. Kim Min Kyung greets Sa Gye with a bright smile when he rings her doorbell, but her face quickly turns serious as she delivers a sharp line that leaves him stunned. With intense developments ahead in episode 9, viewers are anticipating the nonstop laughs she is expected to deliver.

On set, Kim Min Kyung stood out with her natural charm. Her sharp ad-libs and fun back-and-forth with Ha Yoo Joon added energy to the scene, proving she lives up to her nickname as the commander of laughter.

The second to final episode of “Spring of Youth” airs on June 25 at 10:40 p.m. KST.
