Seo Bum June, Shin Seul Ki, And Bae Na Ra Join Choi Woo Shik And Jung So Min's Upcoming Rom-Com
Seo Bum June, Shin Seul Ki, and Bae Na Ra will be starring alongside Choi Woo Shik and Jung So Min in an upcoming rom-com drama!
On June 24, it was officially announced that Seo Bum June will join SBS’s upcoming drama “Would You Marry Me” (literal title). Shin Seul Ki and Bae Na Ra have also been confirmed to join the cast.
“Would You Marry Me” is a romantic comedy about a man and a woman who enter a high-stakes, 90-day fake marriage to win a luxurious newlywed home. The drama previously confirmed Choi Woo Shik and Jung So Min as the leads.
Seo Bum June will take on the role of Kim Woo Joo, a graduate of a prestigious university with a degree in mathematics who now works at a financial firm. With his clean-cut looks and smooth-talking charm, he seems like the perfect catch. However, while engaged to Yoo Mary (Jung So Min), Woo Joo’s wandering heart leads him astray the moment his ideal type appears, ending in a breakup.
Shin Seul Ki will play Yoon Jin Kyung, a first-year family medicine resident who, despite her striking beauty that turns heads wherever she goes, doesn’t pay much mind to her appearance due to her easygoing and carefree personality.
Bae Na Ra takes on the role of Baek Sang Hyun, an ambitious man with a relatable charm. Having grown up poor, Sang Hyun is determined to secure his place in the world of the upper class. He ends up keeping a close watch on Kim Woo Joo (Choi Woo Shik) and Yoo Mary, who are pretending to be a married couple.
“Would You Marry Me” is slated to air in the second half of this year.
