Watch: Kim Nam Gil And Kim Young Kwang Face Off As Guns Turn Korea Into Chaos In “Trigger” Teaser
Netflix’s upcoming drama “Trigger” has announced its premiere date with a chilling new poster and teaser!
“Trigger” is an action-packed thriller drama set in South Korea, a country known for its strict gun control laws. The story follows two men who, for their own reasons, take up arms amidst a rising wave of illegal firearms mysteriously appearing across the nation that leads to an unprecedented surge in gun-related crimes.
Kim Nam Gil stars as Lee Do, a police officer who picks up guns once more to uphold justice, while Kim Young Kwang plays Moon Baek, a mysterious figure who aids Lee Do amid rising gun crimes while concealing his own secrets.
The newly unveiled poster shows Lee Do and Moon Baek staring down at a box filled with firearms. The ominous tagline reads, “Firearms are flooding into a gun-free country.” Their contrasting expressions hint at the diverging paths that lead them to take up arms.
The accompanying teaser amps up the suspense. Gunshots ring out following the chilling narration: “Everyone carries a trigger in their heart.” The next scenes show bullets and guns begin turning up all over the country, delivered in packages.
As the country grapples with the growing threat, Lee Do launches his own investigation to uncover the source of the illegal weapons. Meanwhile, Moon Baek’s unnerving question—“What do you think would happen if everyone in Korea had a gun? Aren’t you curious?”—sets the stage for a gripping psychological and moral showdown.
