Watch: Lee Bo Young, Kang Ki Young, And Baek Hyun Jin Get Entangled In A Dangerous Deal In "Mary Kills People" Teaser
MBC’s upcoming remake of “Mary Kills People” has revealed its first teaser, full of suspense and unexpected twists!
“Mary Kills People” follows the story of Woo So Jung (Lee Bo Young), a doctor who illegally assists terminally ill patients with euthanasia, and a detective who tracks down her illegal activities.
The “Good vs. Evil” teaser heightens the tension by showcasing the stormy narrative that unfolds between extremes: Woo So Jung, who assists with assisted dying at the boundary between life and death; Jo Hyun Woo (Lee Min Ki), a terminal cancer patient for whom no treatment works; and Choi Dae Hyun (Kang Ki Young), who helps patients with assisted dying alongside Woo So Jung.
The teaser begins with the mysterious businessman Goo Gwang Chul (Baek Hyun Jin) confronting Woo So Jung and sharply remarking, “Euthanasia. It is euthanasia, isn’t it?” In response, Woo So Jung casts an anxious gaze at Goo Gwang Chul.
As Woo So Jung, with a serious facial expression and trembling eyes, heads somewhere, the phrase, “Salvation that began with good intentions,” appears on screen. Goo Gwang Chul then ominously fixes his gaze on some drugs, saying, “It’s a perfectly sleek business item.”
The tension peaks as Goo Gwang Chul’s voice declares, “It all starts now. And just do as I say,” while scenes flash between Goo Gwang Chul taking a photo of a terrified Woo So Jung and Ahn Tae Sung (Kim Tae Woo) having a gun pointed at his head, amplifying the sense of mystery.
