Watch: Yoon Kye Sang Sparks Kim Yo Han’s Bottom-Ranked Rugby Team With Passion In “Try: A Miracle In Us”
SBS’s upcoming comedy sports drama “Try: A Miracle in Us” has unveiled an exciting new teaser!
“Try: A Miracle in Us” tells the story of Joo Ga Ram (Yoon Kye Sang), a former rugby star who falls from grace due to a doping scandal. Years later, he returns to his alma mater as the new coach of its bottom-ranked high school rugby team and leads the underdog squad on a quest to win the National Sports Festival.
The teaser opens with Joo Ga Ram narrating, “Rugby is about countless tries and an unyielding process. That’s why in rugby, scoring is called a ‘try,’” as the teaser shows rugby star Joo Ga Ram basking in the spotlight after scoring on the field.
However, the atmosphere quickly shifts as the once-glorious star returns as the unpredictable and eccentric coach of Hanyang Physical Education High School’s rugby team. His bold declaration, “Our goal is to win nationals,” leaves team captain Yoon Sung Joon (Kim Yo Han) and his teammates staring up at him in stunned disbelief.
The teaser then showcases dynamic scenes: Sung Joon throwing a punch at someone, the team sprinting while carrying their coach on their shoulders, and the squad clashing fiercely in games despite having no substitute players. With no proper mindset, no players, and no skills, what will happen when this hopeless team meets their fiercely passionate new coach, who proclaims, “If you keep trying without giving up, you’ll always find a way”?
The caption, “All they have is passion!” paired with Joo Ga Ram’s hearty laughter and shots of the team undergoing intense training hint at a fun, uplifting journey ahead. The teaser ends with the players roaring in triumph alongside the caption, “Pushing through for both laughter and victory until the end, Try!” raising anticipation for this comedic and heartwarming sports drama.
“Try: A Miracle in Us” will premiere on July 25.
