Watch: Yeom Jung Ah, Dex, And Won Jin Ah Are Locked In A Fierce Chase In New Teaser For "The Defects"
ENA’s upcoming drama “The Defects” has unveiled a striking new poster and its first teaser video!
Based on a popular webtoon, “The Defects” is an action thriller about children who have been abandoned by their adoptive parents—and their fight for survival and revenge. The drama is directed by Oh Gi Hwan and written by Ahn So Jung.
The newly released poster features an empty shopping cart eerily set against a dark and cold backdrop. Placed in the center is the tagline “I want to return a child,” which sparks curiosity about the drama’s chilling premise.
The accompanying teaser video opens with a desperate narration: “If there is a god, I want to ask—I won’t ask for a mother, just to be saved.” It then introduces Kim Se Hee (Yeom Jung Ah), the de facto leader of an illegal adoption ring; Kim Ah Hyun (Won Jin Ah), a returned adoptee who has survived against all odds; and Jung Hyun (Dex), a human weapon raised by Se Hee.
The following scenes are filled with thrilling chases and intense confrontations that highlight the drama’s gripping action. The teaser ends with Se Hee’s chilling final line, “How dare you come back here? You should have died then.”
