Lee Dong Wook Is Lee Sung Kyung’s Silent Supporter In Upcoming Drama “The Nice Guy”

JTBC’s upcoming drama “The Nice Guy” has shared new stills featuring Lee Dong Wook and Lee Sung Kyung!

“The Nice Guy” is a noir drama that follows Park Seok Chul (Lee Dong Wook), the eldest grandson of a third-generation gangster family with an unexpectedly pure heart, and his first love Kang Mi Young (Lee Sung Kyung), a woman who dreams of becoming a singer.

In the newly released stills, Park Seok Chul is seen quietly supporting Kang Mi Young, who suffers from stage fright. Their gazes convey the deep affection they hold for each other. As they reconnect, the emotions they once had for each other slowly resurface, fueled by their shared memories.

Speaking about his co-star Lee Sung Kyung, Lee Dong Wook commented, “Lee Sung Kyung was a partner who brought both cheerful energy and emotional depth to her acting,” adding, “The relationship between Park Seok Chul and Kang Mi Young is like salvation for each other.”

Lee Sung Kyung remarked, “Thanks to Lee Dong Wook, I learned a lot about consideration and focus on set,” adding, “Viewers will be able to feel the excitement and innocence that come with the word ‘first love.’”

“The Nice Guy” is set to premiere on July 18 at 8:50 p.m. KST and will air two consecutive episodes every Friday.
