Chuu Captivates Everyone In The Club With Her Dazzling Smile In New Drama "My Girlfriend Is The Man!"

KBS2’s upcoming drama “My Girlfriend Is the Man!” has shared the first look at Chuu’s character!

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “My Girlfriend Is the Man!” is a romantic comedy about a college student whose girlfriend unexpectedly transforms into a man.

ASTRO’s Yoon San Ha will star as Park Yoon Jae, an astronomy student who is head over heels for his girlfriend Kim Ji Eun (OH MY GIRL’s Arin). Due to a gene that runs in her family, Kim Ji Eun suddenly turns into a handsome man (played by Yoo Jung Hoo) and begins going by the name Kim Ji Hoon.

In the drama, Chuu takes on the role of Kang Min Joo, the “hot girl” of Yeonhee University who is admired everywhere she goes for both her looks and her academic background, and who secretly harbors feelings for Park Yoon Jae.

Kang Min Joo, a junior in the same department as Park Yoon Jae, returns after a year as an exchange student only to discover that Park Yoon Jae now has a girlfriend. Fueled by her competitive spirit, she rises as a rival to Kim Ji Eun and Kim Ji Hoon (Yoo Jung Hoo).

The newly released stills capture Kang Min Joo’s “hot girl” moment at a club welcome party. Kang Min Joo, back at school after a year, celebrates her return with her classmates at a club. Dressed in a striking red top that highlights her glamorous image, she beams brightly as she clinks beer bottles with friends, showing off her top-tier social skills.

Ahead of the premiere, Chuu shared her excitement, saying, “Since this is my first time greeting viewers through a drama, I’m both thrilled and very nervous. We all did our best to bring joy to the audience. I hope viewers find Min Joo’s clumsy yet bold pursuit of Yoon Jae endearing.”
