Ahn Bo Hyun Becomes A Fearful Yet Loyal Guardian To Lim YoonA In New Film “Pretty Crazy”

Ahn Bo Hyun is ready to captivate audiences with his puppy-like charm in the upcoming film “Pretty Crazy”!

“Pretty Crazy” tells the story of Gil Goo (Ahn Bo Hyun), a young unemployed man whose soul is thoroughly shaken when he takes on an extraordinary part-time job: watching over Seon Ji (Lim YoonA), a woman who transforms into a devil after midnight.

After quitting his job, Gil Goo spends his days in a monotonous routine at home. But upon learning Seon Ji’s shocking secret, he begins a tough new part-time job as her guardian every night.

Despite his imposing build, a newly released still captures Gil Goo’s perpetually terrified expression, revealing a side of Ahn Bo Hyun fans have never seen before. While he may look like a dependable Doberman as he protects Seon Ji at night, under her overwhelming presence, he turns into a submissive golden retriever—showcasing a duality that is sure to steal viewers’ hearts.

Regarding Ahn Bo Hyun, director Lee Sang Geun shared, “When I first met him, I thought, ‘Is there anyone as overwhelming as this?’ He was incredibly charming, and I felt he was a genuinely good person. I think viewers will start the film captivated by Seon Ji’s charms but leave with Gil Goo lingering in their minds.”

Ahn Bo Hyun commented, “At first, I was worried about how to portray him, but after talking with the director, I realized ‘This character is the director himself.’ So I tried to follow his direction as closely as possible. I didn’t have to bulk up separately because I’ve been working out consistently, but I’m grateful people mention the chemistry created by the size difference between me and Lim YoonA.”

“Pretty Crazy” will hit theaters on August 13.
