Rowoon’s Military Enlistment Delayed Due To Pre-Enlistment Examination Outcome

Rowoon’s military enlistment has been postponed.

On July 17, his agency FNC Entertainment announced that Rowoon, who was originally set to enlist as an active-duty soldier on July 21, underwent a pre-enlistment physical examination and received a re-examination (Grade 7) notice. As a result, his enlistment has been delayed. He has since filed an appeal and is scheduled to undergo a reassessment in early August.

FNC Entertainment added, “The reason for the re-examination involves personal medical information, so we are unable to disclose the details. We ask for your understanding.”

Hello, this is FNC Entertainment.

We would like to provide an update on the military enlistment schedule of our artist Rowoon.

Rowoon was originally scheduled to enlist as an active-duty soldier on July 21. However, starting this July, the Military Manpower Administration has been conducting pre-enlistment physical examinations two weeks prior to enlistment for all conscripts. During this examination, Rowoon received a Grade 7 re-examination notice.

Rowoon has immediately filed an appeal and is scheduled for a reassessment in early August. He hopes to confirm that there are no issues with fulfilling his mandatory service and to enlist as an active-duty soldier as soon as possible.

We will share another update once his new enlistment date has been confirmed.

Thank you.
