Shin Ha Kyun, Oh Jung Se, And Heo Sung Tae In Talks To Star In New Action Drama
Shin Ha Kyun, Oh Jung Se, and Heo Sung Tae may come together in one project!
On July 17, a media outlet reported that actors Shin Ha Kyun, Oh Jung Se, and Heo Sung Tae will star as the main characters in the new drama “50 Percent” (literal title). The report also stated that the drama is scheduled to air on MBC in the first half of next year.
In response to the report, on July 18, Shin Ha Kyun’s agency HODU & U Entertainment and Heo Sung Tae’s agency BILLIONS Entertainment shared that the actors are positively considering their offers to appear in the new drama “50 Percent.” Oh Jung Se’s agency PRAIN TPC commented, “It is one of the projects he has been offered, but nothing has been decided yet.”
“50 Percent” tells the story of three seemingly ordinary but secretly dangerous middle-aged men whose destinies bring them back into action. It’s a reality-based action comedy about professionals in their fifties who have lived half their lives, depicting the bittersweet everyday lives of three middle-aged men you might find anywhere and the even sadder reality of men who were once at the top of their game.
A representative of MBC also stated, “‘50 Percent’ is one of the projects currently being discussed for programming.”
Shin Ha Kyun and Oh Jung Se previously worked together in the film “Extreme Job,” Shin Ha Kyun and Heo Sung Tae in the JTBC drama “Beyond Evil,” and Oh Jung Se and Heo Sung Tae in JTBC’s ongoing drama “Good Boy.” With these connections, anticipation is growing to see if this combination of three actors will come together for the new project.
