Kim Go Eun In Talks + Kang Dong Won Reported For New Romance Drama By "When Life Gives You Tangerines" Director
Kim Go Eun may be starring alongside Kang Dong Won in an upcoming drama!
On July 21, Xportsnews reported that Kim Go Eun has been cast in the new drama “Soul” (working title).
In response to the report, her agency BH Entertainment stated, “It is true that she received an offer for ‘Soul.’ She is currently reviewing it.”
“Soul” will be written by Park Ji Eun, the hitmaker behind “My Love From the Star,” “The Producers,” “Crash Landing on You,” and “Queen of Tears,” and directed by Kim Won Suk, who helmed “Misaeng,” “Signal,” “My Mister,” and “When Life Gives You Tangerines.”
The drama is said to be a fusion of historical and romance genres.
Back in May, it was reported that Kang Dong Won was offered the male lead role, though no official statement has been released yet.
Meanwhile, Kim Go Eun is gearing up for the release of Netflix’s upcoming series “You and Everything Else” and “The Price of Confession” later this year, and has also been confirmed for “Yumi’s Cells 3,” which is slated for release next year.
