Choo Young Woo Pinches Cho Yi Hyun’s Cheeks With Affection While Possessed In “Head Over Heels”
tvN’s “Head Over Heels” has shared new stills ahead of its upcoming episode!
“Head Over Heels” is a fantasy romance drama about a boy who is fated to die and the young shaman who tries to rescue him from his fate. Cho Yi Hyun stars as Park Seong A, a high school student who leads a double life as a shaman by night. Choo Young Woo plays her first love Bae Gyeon U, who is plagued by bad luck and was born with the misfortune of a predestined death.

In the previous episode, Bae Gyeon U was completely taken over by the evil spirit Bong Soo. After Park Seong A countered Yeom Hwa’s (Choo Ja Hyun) ritual with a reversal spell, she suffered a backlash, and in the meantime, Bae Gyeon U fell into danger. Despite a shaman’s (Lee Young Ran) warning to never get involved with spirits—and if he did, never shed blood—Bae Gyeon U was cut with a knife. As a result, his spiritual senses—ears and eyes, and eventually even his mouth and nose—were all overtaken by the spirit. Realizing something was wrong, Park Seong A confronted him, and the episode ended chillingly with Bong Soo telling her, “I ate him.”
The newly released stills show Bae Gyeon U’s transformation under Bong Soo’s possession. Bong Soo waits eagerly for Park Seong A, smiling innocently as he intertwines his fingers with hers. In another photo, he pinches her cheeks while gazing at her with affection, contrasting sharply with her displeased expression.
However, other stills capture a shift in atmosphere with the grave expressions of Park Seong A and leader Dong Cheon (Kim Mi Kyung). Because harming Bong Soo would endanger Bae Gyeon U’s life, Park Seong A and Dong Cheon are shown performing a high-risk ritual. The tension rises further when Bong Soo finds something among Park Seong A’s exorcism tools, his serious expression hinting at imminent danger. Viewers are left wondering: where is Bae Gyeon U’s consciousness now that his body is completely possessed by the evil spirit?
