TWICE’s Jeongyeon In Talks To Make Big-Screen Debut In Upcoming “New Recruit” Film Adaptation

TWICE’s Jeongyeon may soon be making her debut on the big screen!

On July 22, it was reported that Jeongyeon has been cast in the upcoming film “New Recruit: The Movie,” where she has been offered the role of an army nurse officer.

In response to the report, a representative from the production team stated, “We have offered TWICE’s Jeongyeon the role of a nurse officer in the film, and she is currently reviewing the offer positively. We are in the process of coordinating the details.”

“New Recruit: The Movie” is a spinoff of the popular drama series “New Recruit,” which gained fame for its hyper-realistic yet comedic portrayal of military life. The series first aired in 2022 and has since released Season 2 in 2023 and Season 3 this past April.

Unlike the original series, “New Recruit: The Movie” will take place in a military hospital instead of an army base. The script is currently in its final stages, with filming scheduled to begin later this year.

Stay tuned for more updates!
