Lee Young Ae Wears A Cryptic Smile In First Poster For New Drama

KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “Eunsoo’s Lucky Day” (literal title) has unveiled its first poster!

“Eunsoo’s Lucky Day” follows Kang Eun Soo (Lee Young Ae), a parent determined to protect her family, and Lee Kyung (Kim Young Kwang), a two-faced teacher, as they are drawn into a dangerous, desperate partnership after stumbling upon a bag of drugs.

Lee Young Ae stars as Kang Eun Soo, a mother who once lived an ordinary life but is pushed to the brink overnight when her husband’s illness worsens and the family plunges into financial ruin. One day, she finds a suspicious bag left behind by someone and becomes unexpectedly connected to her daughter’s after-school art teacher, Lee Kyung. This partnership ultimately drives her to cross a forbidden line.

The newly released poster shows Eun Soo upside down against an endless blue sky, as if floating in zero gravity. Eun Soo’s faint smile captures a fragile mix of hope, resignation, and liberation, while also revealing the heaviness of her burdens and the cracks forming within her soul—all within a single frame.

Across the poster reads the line, “Which is worse, then or now?” hinting at Eun Soo’s unstable state of mind as she stands at a crossroads, torn between confusion and choice. It leaves viewers wondering where her decisions will lead her and what awaits at the end of her path.

The production team said, “This poster visually shows the turning point in Eun Soo’s life in the drama,” adding, “Veteran actor Lee Young Ae’s portrayal of a character who falls, then rises again, will give audiences an immersive emotional experience as they follow the deep narrative.”

“Eunsoo’s Lucky Day” is set to premiere on September 20 at 9:20 p.m. KST.
