Cho Yi Hyun And Choo Young Woo Begin Their Final Battle To Save Her True Self In “Head Over Heels” Finale
tvN’s “Head Over Heels” has previewed pivotal moments ahead of tonight’s finale!
“Head Over Heels” is a fantasy romance drama about a boy who is fated to die and the young shaman who tries to rescue him from his fate. Cho Yi Hyun stars as Park Seong A, a high school student who leads a double life as a shaman by night. Choo Young Woo plays her first love Bae Gyeon U, who is plagued by bad luck and was born with the misfortune of a predestined death.

In the previous episode, Park Seong A sealed the evil spirit Bong Soo within herself in order to save Bae Gyeon U and then mysteriously vanished. Gyeon U eventually found her—but unaware that she was now possessed by Bong Soo, he held on to her despite Yeom Hwa’s (Choo Ja Hyun) warning to run if he ever saw Seong A again. Just then, Bong Soo (inhabiting Seong A’s body) suddenly kissed him. When a stunned Gyeon U called out Seong A’s name, Bong Soo coldly replied, “Do you really think I’m Seong A?”
Newly released stills show the possessed Seong A reuniting with Bae Gyeon U and Pyo Ji Ho (Cha Kang Yoon). Ji Ho is visibly shaken by Seong A’s dramatic shift in demeanor but soon realizes it’s Bong Soo inside her. The stark contrast between Ji Ho frozen in shock and Gyeon U urgently trying to stop Bong Soo adds a humorous twist to the scene.
Alongside this chaotic reunion, emotional moments are also captured. In one set of photos, Seong A—or perhaps Bong Soo—tears up at Gyeon U’s gentle touch, leaving viewers wondering who is truly in front of him.
Another poignant set of stills shows Gyeon U appearing in Seong A’s dream. As he holds the girl he’s longed for, his eyes overflow with affection, while Seong A, caught off guard, sheds tears—raising curiosity about what brought them together in the dreamworld.
Other stills hint at a dramatic confrontation between Seong A, Gyeon U, and Yeom Hwa at the abandoned house where the evil spirit first appeared. Viewers are left wondering: can everything be restored to how it once was?
The production team commented, “Tonight’s final episode will depict the final choices Park Seong A and Bae Gyeon U make in order to protect one another. Please stay tuned to see how their first love story concludes—and whether they can truly save each other.”
