Yoo Jung Hoo's Genuine Worry Clashes With Chuu’s Calculated Moves In “My Girlfriend Is The Man!”
Tension continues to build in “My Girlfriend is the Man!” as Yoo Jung Hoo and Chuu face off once again!
Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “My Girlfriend is the Man!” is a romantic comedy about a college student whose girlfriend unexpectedly transforms into a man. ASTRO’s Yoon San Ha stars as Park Yoon Jae, an astronomy student who is head over heels for his girlfriend Kim Ji Eun (OH MY GIRL’s Arin). Due to a gene that runs in her family, Kim Ji Eun suddenly turns into a handsome man (played by Yoo Jung Hoo) and begins going by the name Kim Ji Hoon. Chuu plays Kang Min Joo, a popular student who secretly has a crush on Park Yoon Jae.
Spoilers
Previously, Park Yoon Jae and Kim Ji Eun enjoyed a brief return to normal after she reverted to her original self. But the peace didn’t last long—Ji Eun suddenly transformed back into Kim Ji Hoon. Though Ji Hoon suggested they part ways, Yoon Jae refused, confessing he couldn’t let her go just yet, choosing instead to maintain the status quo.
The newly released stills show Kim Ji Hoon and Kang Min Joo caught in a subtle but fierce showdown over Yoon Jae at a hospital. When Yoon Jae collapses and is rushed to the ER, both Ji Hoon and Min Joo hurry to his side. Ji Hoon arrives at the hospital visibly worried, his eyes filled with concern as he checks on Yoon Jae’s condition. Meanwhile, Min Joo, who gets ignored by Ji Hoon without so much as a glance, becomes wary of his overly attentive behavior—just like at the club.
But when Yoon Jae’s parents arrive, Min Joo shifts gears in an instant. She beams warmly and puts on her most charming act, leaving Ji Hoon stunned and visibly frustrated by her sudden change in attitude.
The production team teased, “In tonight’s episode, a highly impactful moment unfolds in front of Park Yoon Jae’s parents. Be sure to tune in!”
The next episode of “My Girlfriend is the Man!” will air on July 31 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
