BTS, ATEEZ, ENHYPEN, TXT, ILLIT, Stray Kids, SEVENTEEN, And More Sweep Top Spots On Billboard World Albums Chart
Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week ending on August 2!
BTS’s first live album “PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LIVE” topped the World Albums chart this week, in addition to debuting in the top 10 of the Billboard 200.
BTS’s 2022 anthology album “Proof” also stayed strong at No. 8 in its 163rd week on the World Albums chart, followed by Jin’s solo mini album “Echo” at No. 14 (in its 10th week on the chart) and Jimin’s solo album “MUSE” at No. 15 (in its 53rd week).
ATEEZ’s “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.3” took No. 2 in its sixth week on the World Albums chart, and it also spent a fourth week on the Billboard 200 at No. 68.
ENHYPEN’s latest mini album “DESIRE : UNLEASH” ranked No. 3 in its eighth week on the World Albums chart, while their previous album “ROMANCE : UNTOLD” came in at No. 18 in its 54th week on the chart.
Meanwhile, ILLIT’s latest mini album “bomb” held relatively steady at No. 7 in its fifth week on the chart.
Stray Kids landed an impressive total of four albums on this week’s World Albums chart. Their special album “合 (HOP)” took No. 9 in its 32nd week on the chart, trailed by their 2024 mini album “ATE” at No. 12 in its 53rd week. Their 2023 album “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” re-entered the chart at No. 23 (marking its 49th non-consecutive week on the chart), with their 2023 mini album “ROCK-STAR” rounding out the top 25 in its 37th week.
Despite not having yet been released physically in the United States during this week’s tracking period, TXT’s new album “The Star Chapter: TOGETHER” debuted at No. 10 on the World Albums chart based solely on digital sales.
SEVENTEEN’s “HAPPY BURSTDAY” ranked No. 11 in its ninth week on the chart, while NewJeans’ “Get Up” climbed back up to No. 17 in its 98th week.
RIIZE’s “ODYSSEY” took No. 21 in its second week on the chart, with BLACKPINK’s 2020 album “THE ALBUM” ranking No. 22 in its 108th week.
