TXT Breaks Billboard 200 Record As "The Star Chapter: TOGETHER" Debuts At No. 3
TXT has just set an impressive new record on the Billboard 200!
On August 3 local time, Billboard announced that TXT’s new album “The Star Chapter: TOGETHER” had debuted at No. 3 on its Top 200 Albums chart, which ranks the most popular albums in the United States.
TXT has now become the first K-pop artist in history to score seven top 5 entries on the Billboard 200: “The Star Chapter: TOGETHER” is the group’s seventh top 5 album and their 12th chart entry overall.
Not only is TXT now the K-pop artist with the most top 5 entries on the Billboard 200, but the group also extended their own record as the K-pop act with the most No. 1 albums on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart, where “The Star Chapter: TOGETHER” debuted at No. 1 this week.
According to Luminate (formerly Nielsen Music), “The Star Chapter: TOGETHER” earned a total of 65,000 equivalent album units during the week ending on July 31. The album’s total score consisted of 62,000 traditional album sales—making it the best-selling album of the week in the United States—and 3,000 streaming equivalent album (SEA) units, which translates to 4.23 million on-demand audio streams over the course of the week.
Before “The Star Chapter: TOGETHER,” TXT previously entered the top five of the Billboard 200 with “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” (which peaked at No. 5), “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” (No. 4), “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” (No. 1), “The Name Chapter: FREEFALL” (No. 3), “minisode 3: TOMORROW” (No. 3), and “The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY” (No. 2).
Congratulations to TXT on their new Billboard records!
