Rosé Breaks Billboard 200 Record For Longest-Charting Album By Female K-Pop Artist

BLACKPINK’s Rosé’s “rosie” is officially the longest-charting album by any female K-pop artist in Billboard 200 history!

On August 5 local time, Billboard revealed that Rosé’s solo album “rosie” had re-entered its Top 200 Albums chart (its weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the United States) at No. 168.

“rosie” has now spent a total of 27 weeks on the Billboard 200, overtaking BLACKPINK’s “THE ALBUM” and NewJeans’ “Get Up” (both of which charted for 26 weeks each) to break the record for the longest-charting album by a female K-pop act.

Meanwhile, Rosé and Bruno Mars’ smash hit “APT.” extended its own record as the longest-charting song by a K-pop artist on Billboard’s Hot 100, where it spent its 41st consecutive week on the chart at No. 45.

“APT.” also continued to perform well on Billboard’s global charts, holding steady at No. 7 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 11 on the Global 200 this week.

Finally, Rosé climbed back up to No. 85 on Billboard’s Artist 100, marking her 37th overall week on the chart.

Congratulations to Rosé on making Billboard history!
