Yoo Jung Hoo And Chuu’s Petty War Escalates Over Malatang As Yoon San Ha Looks Done In “My Girlfriend Is The Man!”
KBS’s “My Girlfriend is the Man!” has dropped new stills ahead of tonight’s episode!
Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “My Girlfriend is the Man!” is a romantic comedy about a college student whose girlfriend unexpectedly transforms into a man. ASTRO’s Yoon San Ha stars as Park Yoon Jae, an astronomy student who is head over heels for his girlfriend Kim Ji Eun (OH MY GIRL’s Arin). Due to a gene that runs in her family, Kim Ji Eun suddenly turns into a handsome man (played by Yoo Jung Hoo) and begins going by the name Kim Ji Hoon. Chuu plays Kang Min Joo, a popular student who secretly has a crush on Park Yoon Jae.

In the previous episode, Kim Ji Hoon, having transformed for the second time, became increasingly annoyed by Kang Min Joo’s constant attempts to get close to Park Yoon Jae. The tension peaked when Yoon Jae suddenly collapsed and Min Joo rushed him to the hospital—only to pretend she was his girlfriend in front of his parents. Enraged, Kim Ji Hoon dropped a bombshell of a confession: “I’m Park Yoon Jae’s girlfriend!”—leaving everyone in shock.
The newly released stills promise even more drama as the love triangle escalates. When Park Yoon Jae and Kim Ji Hoon plan to grab malatang together, Kang Min Joo inserts herself into the outing, sparking a hilariously awkward showdown. One still captures the trio attempting to enter a narrow restaurant doorway—Kim Ji Hoon and Kang Min Joo each clinging tightly to one of Yoon Jae’s arms, refusing to back down. Other images depict Kang Min Joo and Kim Ji Hoon vying for a seat next to Park Yoon Jae, which earns them a comical dead stare from him.
As if things couldn’t get any spicier, Kim Ji Hoon and Kang Min Joo engage in a fiery “spice battle,” competitively adding extra chili sauce to their bowls while shooting daggers with their eyes. Meanwhile, Park Yoon Jae sits helplessly in front of them, looking utterly overwhelmed.
The next episode of “My Girlfriend is the Man!” will air on August 6 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
