Lee Dong Wook And Lee Sung Kyung Escape Reality Through A Romantic Trip In 'The Nice Guy'

JTBC’s “The Nice Guy” has unveiled a sneak peek of Lee Dong Wook and Lee Sung Kyung on a romantic getaway!

“The Nice Guy” is a new noir romance drama starring Lee Dong Wook as Park Seok Chul, the eldest son of a gangster family who has an unexpectedly pure heart, and Lee Sung Kyung as his first love Kang Mi Young, a woman who dreams of becoming a singer.

Previously on “The Nice Guy,” Park Seok Chul and Kang Mi Young officially became a couple. However, escalating tensions between gangs made Park Seok Chul unable to leave his gang as he’d planned, and Kang Mi Young had to give up her gig at Nirvana because of Kang Tae Hoon (Park Hoon)’s advances.

In the upcoming episode of the drama, Seok Chul and Mi Young briefly escape their difficult realities by getting away for some quality time together. First, Seok Chul is seen pausing in front of a yellow dress, which he ends up buying for Mi Young as a gift that holds special meaning.

Mi Young then wears that very dress as the two go on a romantic trip. Whether making a wish together during the daytime or gazing up at the night sky at a secluded guesthouse, Seok Chul and Mi Young look relaxed and at peace, as if they have briefly cast aside the worries and struggles of their exhausting everyday lives.

The drama’s production team teased, “Park Seok Chul and Kang Mi Young will take off on a special trip. Please look forward to the sweet vibe that Park Seok Chul and Kang Mi Young, who were worn down by their eventful lives, will create as they spend some time just for the two of them alone.”

The next two episodes of “The Nice Guy” will air on August 8 at 8:50 p.m. KST.
