Kim Yo Han And Team Gear Up For Chaotic Match With Seniors’ Soccer Team In “The Winning Try”
Our high school rugby team is going head-to-head with a local seniors’ soccer club in tonight’s episode of “The Winning Try”!
“The Winning Try” is a new drama starring Yoon Kye Sang as Joo Ga Ram, a former rugby star who falls from grace due to a doping scandal. After he returns to his alma mater as the new coach of its rugby team, which is ranked last in the country, he leads the underdog squad on a quest to win the National Sports Festival.

Previously, Moon Woong (Kim Dan) overcame constant meddling from vice principal Sung Jong Man (Kim Min Sang), earned admission through a special selection process, and officially joined the Hanyang Physical Education High School rugby team.
Newly released stills show the team diving into special training—this time against an unexpected rival: a local seniors’ soccer club, catching everyone completely off guard.
One still captures captain Yoon Sung Joon (Kim Yo Han) shooting an icy glare at coach Joo Ga Ram, who nervously avoids his eyes. Another shows Moon Woong standing tall and ready for action in his new rugby uniform.
Meanwhile, in stark contrast to his rattled players, Ga Ram—acting as referee—strikes a playful “photo op” pose with the seniors’ club members, exuding his trademark quirky energy. The last shot features him blowing his whistle with firm authority at the rugby team’s fouls, while So Myung Woo (Lee Su Chan) looks on in utter disbelief, hinting at the hilarious chaos to come.
