Lee Sung Min Is A Paper Industry Veteran Seeking Reemployment In New Film 'No Other Choice'

The upcoming film “No Other Choice” has unveiled new stills of Lee Sung Min!

“No Other Choice” tells the story of Man Soo (Lee Byung Hun), an office worker who once felt completely satisfied with life before being suddenly laid off. Determined to protect his wife, two children, and the home they worked so hard to buy, he embarks on a personal battle to find a new job.

Lee Sung Min will take on the role of Beom Mo, a man deeply devoted to the paper industry, where he has spent the majority of his life. Refusing to give up on reemployment in his beloved field, Beom Mo emerges as a potential rival to Man Soo. A thoroughly “analog” man, Beom Mo writes his resume on a typewriter and listens only to LP records.

In one of the new stills, Lee Sung Min wears a desperate expression, while in another, he holds a sheet of white paper in the air, seemingly deep in thought: an image that hints at his emotional attachment to his lifelong profession.

Sharing his thoughts on the role, Lee Sung Min said, “I always prepared various possibilities in order to express Beom Mo as seen by director Park Chan Wook.” Park Chan Wook also praised the actor, commenting, “In situations that called for exaggerated expressions, Lee Sung Min pulled them off fearlessly.”

“No Other Choice” is set to hit theaters in September.
