
August Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for girl groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various girl groups, using big data collected from July 10 to August 10.
BLACKPINK held onto their spot at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 8,496,216, marking an 0.09 percent increase in their score since July. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “JUMP,” “ninth anniversary,” and “world tour,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “surpass,” “compete,” and “challenge.” BLACKPINK’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 92.02 percent positive reactions.
IVE maintained their position at second place with a brand reputation index of 4,942,720 for August.
Red Velvet rose to third place with a brand reputation index of 3,921,111, marking an 8.35 percent increase in their score since last month.
TWICE took fourth place for August with a brand reputation index of 2,860,750, while OH MY GIRL rounded out the top five with a score of 2,114,185.
