Park Ji Hyun To Not Return For "Flex X Cop" Season 2 Due To Scheduling Conflicts
Park Ji Hyun will not be reprising her role in Season 2 of “Flex x Cop.”
On August 13, MyDaily reported that Park Ji Hyun has ultimately decided not to appear in the second season of the hit 2024 SBS drama.
With her departure, the production team is reportedly looking for another actress to take on the role, though casting has yet to be finalized. Filming is expected to begin early next year once casting is complete.
Her agency Namoo Actors confirmed the news, stating, “Due to scheduling conflicts, Park Ji Hyun will not be joining the next season.”
“Flex x Cop” tells the story of an immature third-generation chaebol Jin Yi Soo (Ahn Bo Hyun) who becomes a detective due to his privileged background and Lee Kang Hyun (Park Ji Hyun), a workaholic veteran detective who is also the first female team leader in the Homicide Department. The drama premiered with an average nationwide rating of 5.7 percent and climbed to a peak of 11 percent.
Recently, Park Ji Hyun has been confirmed to star in tvN’s upcoming office romance drama “Back to Work!” (literal title) alongside Seo In Guk.
