Spoilers

On the previous episode of “The Nice Guy,” Park Seok Chul and Kang Mi Young made a romantic promise to stay together forever no matter what. However, newly released stills from the drama’s next episode raise the question of whether the couple will be able to keep that promise.

In the first set of photos, Park Seok Chul is unable to tear his eyes away from Kang Mi Young’s house as he repeatedly calls her. Although Kang Mi Young is ignoring all of his calls, Park Seok Chul’s expression looks more worried than frustrated, piquing curiosity as to what happened between them.

Meanwhile, Kang Mi Young appears lost in thought as she sits alone in her room, her eyes reddening with tears.

Later, Park Seok Chul and Kang Mi Young finally meet up in person—but the atmosphere between them is entirely different from before. Kang Mi Young seems desperate to avoid Park Seok Chul’s worried gaze, suggesting that their relationship is in danger.

The next two episodes of “The Nice Guy” will air on August 15 at 9:10 p.m. KST.
