Love, Take Two” has shared new stills ahead of tonight’s episode!

“Love, Take Two” is a heartwarming comedy drama about 43-year-old single mother Lee Ji An (Yum Jung Ah) and her 23-year-old daughter Lee Hyo Ri (Choi Yoon Ji). The pair moves to the countryside to start a new chapter in their lives, encountering various people and chaotic situations that teach them profound lessons about life.

Spoilers

In the previous episode, Hyo Ri’s dream house was finally completed. After finally reconciling and opening up to one another, Ji An and Hyo Ri vowed to begin a fresh life there. However, on the very first night, things took an unexpected turn. Two wild dogs descended from the mountains, and an electrical problem left the house in complete darkness. At that moment, an uninvited guest appeared—Jung Moon Hee (Kim Mi Kyung)—warmly greeting them with, “Mom is late, isn’t she? My daughter, did you wait long for me?” Her affectionate words, contrasted with Ji An’s conflicted gaze, left viewers even more intrigued about the nature of their relationship.

The newly released stills show Moon Hee returning once again to seek out Ji An. At the restaurant Ji An runs with Kim Sun Young (Kim Sun Young), Moon Hee joins Ji An and Ryu Jeong Seok (Park Hae Joon) at their table uninvited, her meddlesome chatter and nagging quickly cooling the atmosphere. Acting as though she were Ji An’s mother, Moon Hee fusses over her, while Ji An shoots back a look of clear disapproval. Between them, Jeong Seok sits uneasily, sensing the tension without fully grasping the situation.

Another still captures a four-way confrontation between Ji An, Jeong Seok, Hyo Ri, and Moon Hee. When Ji An finds Moon Hee inside the kitchen without permission, she finally explodes in anger, while Hyo Ri looks on in shock. As Kim Sun Young tries to comfort Ji An, Moon Hee remains calm and unshaken—her composed demeanor only deepening curiosity about the mysterious bond that may connect her and Ji An.

The production team shared, “In today’s fifth episode, Ji An is forced to confront the painful memories she has tried to bury because of the intrusion of the ‘mysterious guest’ Jung Moon Hee, while Hyo Ri witnesses her mother’s long-standing pain with deep empathy. Through Ji An, others will also come to reveal their own pasts and stories of ‘mother,’ delivering heartfelt and relatable moments.”
