Watch: Jo Woo Jin, Jung Kyung Ho, And More Clash In Hilarious Battle To Dodge The Boss Seat In Upcoming Film “Boss”
The upcoming film “Boss” has dropped its first set of character posters along with a new trailer!
“Boss” is an action-comedy film that follows the unexpected turn of events when the top contenders for the boss position of Sikgupa—the largest organization in the city of Yongdu—give up their chances at the boss seat to chase their personal dreams, putting the group’s future at risk.
The newly released posters spotlight the unique personalities of each character caught up in this outrageous “boss-yielding war.”
First up is Soon Tae (Jo Woo Jin), the second-in-command of Sikgupa and head chef at the Chinese restaurant Mimiru. Sitting crouched on a sofa, his pensive expression hints at the dilemma he faces ahead of the vote for the next boss. The tagline, “I want to conquer the nation with my cooking,” reflects his ambition to take over the country not as a gang leader, but as a master chef.
Kang Pyo (Jung Kyung Ho), Sikgupa’s heir with an all-consuming passion for tango, captivates with his fiery gaze and the tagline, “I didn’t choose dance; dance chose me.”
Pan Ho (Park Ji Hwan), the third-in-command who craves the boss seat more than anyone, beams with an ecstatic expression as if he’s already at the top. The tagline, “The boss seat, that’s all I need,” highlights his single-minded determination and raises anticipation for his next moves.
Lastly, Tae Gyu (Lee Kyu Hyung), a deliveryman at Mimiru who is actually an undercover cop infiltrating Sikgupa, flashes a sly smile with the tagline, “My intelligence was not wrong.” His poster teases the twists he may bring right into the heart of the boss-yielding chaos.
The teaser trailer further builds excitement, showing the characters’ hilariously desperate attempts to escape the boss position. Soon Tae struggles to bow out gracefully, while Kang Pyo’s burning passion for dance drives him to give up the role entirely.
Pan Ho adds comedic flair with his over-the-top gestures and unshakable ambition for the throne, while undercover cop Tae Gyu brings intrigue when a shocking moment reveals that he himself is offered the role of boss.
