Shin, Hye-sung, and BoA chosen as the best Korean singers by netizens worldwide

Koreans and netizens around the world have chosen Shin, Hye-sung, and BoA as the best Korean singers.

According to a survey that involved 49,597 viewers worldwide from April 29 to May 21, which was conducted by Arirang TV’s Pops in Seoul to commemorate its 400th broadcast, Shin, Hye-sung, and BoA took the top places in the solo category by receiving 49.4% of the Korean votes and 27.1% of the global votes.

In particular, Shin, Hye-sung was ranked no. 1 both in the group (Shinhwa) and music video categories (Perfect Man by Shinhwa), as well as in the solo category, which confirmed that Shin is truly Korea’s no. 1 singer.

Meanwhile, Super Junior, a 13-member male group, emerged as a new star in Asia by occupying the no.1 spot in the Asian charts.

This survey was participated by 5,499 Koreans and 3,758 foreigners living in Korea, as well as 40,340 people around the world.
