Super Junior's Single Album "U" Tops CD Sales Charts

The first single album produced by the boy group "Super Junior," entitled "U," topped CD sales charts during the first week after its release on June 7.

During the first week of June (June 5-11), the album topped weekly charts of major online CD distribution outlets and tabulation sites such as Hanteo Information System, Hot Tracks, Kyobo Bookstore’s online CD charts, and OiMusic. The album has also topped various daily charts as of June 12.

Meanwhile, Super Junior will launch efforts to advance into the Chinese market in earnest, starting with its participation in the "Korean Video Culture Festival & Performance" to be held in Qingdao, China on June 16.

Super Junior will attend various types of citizens’ events supporting the national soccer team in the World Cup tournament that will be held at Seoul Plaza in front of Seoul City Hall and Peace Plaza inside Seoul Olympic Park on June 13, when the national team plays its first match of the World Cup.
