‘Don’t Look Back’ Wins 2 Awards at Locarno Film Fest

Korean director Kim Young-nam took home two awards at this year’s Locarno International Film Festival for his 2006 film "Don’t Look Back." Film production company eMotion Picture says Kim won the International Federation of Film Critics award for the film’s impressive visuals, and modern images.
Kim also garnered the Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema prize. The award is given to a film that best promotes Asian cinema’s role in the development of integrity and cultural diversity.
"Don’t Look Back" revolves around young people who try to stay optimistic despite poverty. Founded in 1946, the festival is held every August in Switzerland.
