New k-pop album releases - August 20 to 26
Baek Ji Young Vol. 5 (Repack) – Thank You, I can Smile Again (2CD) (August 19)
Dance music specialist Baek Ji Young, whose debut album Sorrow hit the K-pop market 7 years ago, returns with her 5th CD entry. After hours of non-stop recording sessions which took the star no less than 2 years to complete, she’s back with the follow-up to her 4th album Smile. Baek’s latest principal tune "Don’t Love" (Track 1) is driven by her deep and mellow voice. One of the tracks to look out for is Ez DO Dance which carries a Latin feel mixed with hip hop. Injected with a trendy rhythm, this melodious number skillfully drifts between dance and ballad-like passages that meld into a well-balanced whole. Also featuring other dance and cover version songs that bear Baek’s trademark touch, fans are in for all new surprises on this special edition release titled Thank you I Can Smile Again! This version comes as a special double CD combo with exclusive material on CD 2, including Tomorrow, the theme of the SBS TV program "Challenging Successful Generation – Tomorrow’s Model Queen", music videos, and more. – credits to YesAsia
