How to save a life...
One of our users, 말라카, recently posted in General Discussion about the importance of registering with the bone marrow registry.
The Asian American Donor Program (AADP) is a community non-profit organization geared towards saving lives. Asians are desperately needed to register as potential marrow/stem cell donors. Many Asian children and adults with life threatening blood diseases need a stem cell transplant in order to survive. Their best hope for matched donors are those within their Asian community. You could be a "miracle match" and save a life by registering as a potential donor.
Please check out their website for more information on how you can help this worthy cause!
