SG Wannabe to Hold Concert in Japan

Aug 31, 2006

The male group SG Wannabe will hold a large-scale concert in Tokyo, Japan on November 12.

The trio announced its debut in Japan back in May, and will give its first concert in that country at the NHK Hall. The group will receive 150 million won in guaranties for two concerts to be held at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.

SG Wannabe’s music is popular in Japan. The trio sung the original soundtrack of the TV drama “Hotelier,” starring actor Bae Yong-jun, and a song that was featured in the drama “Sad Love Song,” starring Kim Hee-sun and Kwon Sang-woo. The Japanese fan clubs of actors Song Seung-heon and So Ji-seop, who are friends of the members of SG Wannabe, have offered to publicize SG Wannabe’s upcoming concerts in Japan.

SG Wannabe will appear on TV Tokyo’s show in September in a segment introducing Korean artists.
